Fresh homemade pesto can be used in so many different dishes! I love to use pesto as a spread on our chicken crust pizza ๐ It is amazing with chicken and zucchini noodles ๐ฅ๐ You can add it to your breakfast muffins ๐ง You name it!




You can alter this recipe how you like it. For instance, I love garlic, so I used two cloves. You can also roast the pine nuts if you like that taste. Have fun with it! ๐
Homemade Pesto

1 bunch of fresh basil
3 tbsp of pine nuts
1-2 cloves of garlic
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
50 grams of shredded parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper
Directions
- Blend together the basil, minced garlic and pine nuts in a food processor, mortar or with a hand blender.
- Add the olive oil slowly while blending.
- Lastly, mix in the parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper.
